The Candover is being brought to life by three friends who live locally.

Previously The Purefoy Arms, the pub was sold for residential development. However, in 2023, three friends convinced themselves the village pub needed to stay, so following a rather drunken lunch, decided to buy it! And so The Candover, a pub with rooms, was created, to serve the local community and encourage visitors to this unspoilt corner of Hampshire.

In the capable hands of Operations Manager, Luke Ashwood, The Candover offers the warmest welcome to everyone, whether stopping for a pint or visiting for the weekend.
